About
I started my first ceramics class in 2002. As soon as my hands touched the mud I was hooked! Due to an illness, I had to stop doing pottery for several years but my studio waited patiently for me to return! I've been back at it now for about a year.
I work from my home studio in central Indiana. Having a home studio just means that my mind tends to always be out in my studio. My house probably isn't as clean as it should be for this reason. ;)
You will see that I prefer to make functional pieces because I enjoy actually using my creations. Just because something is functional doesn't mean it can't be beautiful.
